Where have all the playing children disappeared to? Growing up, my street was always filled with adolescents enjoying their free time after dinner.  Whether they were playing tag, street hockey and or basketball, they were always present.  Unfortunately, over the years all of that has changed.  Children are now bombarded with so much homework that their family life and free time has eroded.  Due to the amount of homework received on a daily basis, students are not able enjoy their time with their family/friends. They have lost their creativity due to the boring rigor of routine homework.  Lastly, health related issues have arisen from the lack of physical activity, an increase of stress and reduced sleep.

Students now have less time than ever before to enjoy time with their family and friends.

Unfortunately, when faced with the task of thinking for themselves, youth of today are not able to independently think creatively.

Obesity is becoming a burden on our healthcare system because children are not getting enough exercise.

Summary of your arguments.  If schools do not do anything to alter the pattern of ever increasing homework then as a society we will end up with lazy, stressed out, obese zombies that will be a burden on our economy and health care system.
